About Paul

Functional Medicine Practitioner • Nutritional Therapist • Award-Winning Hereford Clinic

I believe that everyone has the capacity to rebuild their health, restore their energy, and return to a life that feels vibrant, resilient, and deeply alive.

My work is rooted in a simple truth: when we understand the root causes of what’s going on in the body — whether fatigue, gut issues, toxicity, or chronic symptoms — transformational healing is possible.

As a BANT-registered Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine practitioner, I combine advanced clinical testing with personalised nutrition, lifestyle, and therapeutic strategies to help my clients finally understand why they feel unwell — and what can be done about it.

I take on a limited number of clients so I can dedicate the time, investigation, and care required for deeply personalised, one-to-one support.

My Clinics

I run a private clinic in Hereford and a virtual online practice supporting clients across the UK and Ireland.

Over the past decade, I’ve helped clients improve:

  • Chronic fatigue & burnout

  • Digestive and gut disorders

  • Mycotoxin and mould-related illness

  • Autoimmune conditions

  • Hormone and fertility issues

  • Neurological and mental health imbalances

My approach is thorough, investigative, and compassionate — the opposite of rushed 10-minute appointments.

My Qualifications & Training

I have a strong academic background in both nutrition and systems-based medicine.

  • Functional Medicine – Functional Medicine University (USA)

  • Nutrition Diploma – College of Naturopathic Medicine (London)

  • BANT Registered – British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy

  • CNHC Registered – Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council

  • CNS Practitioner – Cambridge Nutrition Sciences, Food Intolerance Practitioner

  • Phlebotomy Certified – I perform my own blood draws for functional testing

  • NHS Experience – Over 6 years in nurse-led NHS units supporting complex care

This blend of clinical knowledge, scientific testing, and integrative understanding forms the foundation of how I work.

My Healing Journey

My path to Functional Medicine began at age 23, when I struggled with severe depression and chronic anxiety. I had no understanding of how deeply food, nutrition, and lifestyle shape our mental and physical health.

I turned to nutrition and naturopathic medicine — and the results were nothing short of life-changing.

Through disciplined experimentation, deep study, and holistic exploration, I rebuilt my health from the inside out.

This personal transformation still drives everything I do today: a belief in the body’s extraordinary ability to repair, given the right support.

My Approach to Life & Health

Beyond clinical practice, I’m passionate about personal development and human potential.

Practices such as fasting, breathwork, meditation, cold exposure, and Shadow Work form part of my own life’s exploration.

I integrate this understanding into my clinical work when appropriate — blending science with a grounded, mind-body perspective.

I’m also the father of a young daughter, and when we’re not in the clinic or the office, we can often be found camping in wild corners of the UK and Ireland, connecting with nature.
